HENNESSEY UPFITS

Published on Jun 26, 2025 by JOZEF DABROWSKI

A Hennessey-equipped Chevrolet or GMC needs to be evaluated by its named build and documentation, not by the assumption that every modified truck produces the same power. Seth Wadley Chevrolet GMC is the selling dealership, not Hennessey Performance Engineering.

Identify the actual package

Record the VIN, model year, base vehicle and conversion identifier. Hennessey's Goliath 700 Silverado ZR2 announcement, for example, describes a specific supercharged package. Its rating should not be applied to every Hennessey vehicle or to a truck with different hardware.

Ask which components were installed, when the conversion was completed and whether any later modifications changed the specification. Package names, listing text and exterior badges should agree with the build records.

Compare ownership requirements before performance claims

Obtain the prescribed fuel, maintenance and operating requirements for the completed vehicle. Ask about replacement parts, tire costs and service contacts. A high-output build should be compared with the use you actually intend—not only a horsepower number.

Have the vehicle inspected and demonstrated as appropriate. This page does not claim a personal performance test, verified customer testimonial or guaranteed operating-cost advantage.

Do not confuse horsepower with working capacity

Engine modifications do not automatically increase a truck's tow rating, payload, axle ratings or tire limits. Use the vehicle's applicable labels and manufacturer/upfitter instructions for a specific cargo or trailer requirement. Include the weight of added equipment in that evaluation.

Know who provides each coverage

Request the documents for the base vehicle, conversion and individual components, including start dates, mileage limits, exclusions and the claim process. Do not assume the dealership's general benefits or the original manufacturer's warranty covers every modified part.

The complete written price should distinguish the vehicle, included conversion equipment, other accessories, fees and government charges. Avoid adding the package price again when it is already included.

Can every Chevrolet or GMC receive the same Hennessey package?

No such claim is made here. Eligibility and package details must be confirmed with the manufacturer and the vehicle records.
